Researchers' Night at the Institute for Mediterranean Studies (IMS-FORTH) in Rethymno

The Institute for Mediterranean Studies (IMS-FORTH) in Rethymno opens its doors for "Researchers' Night" on Friday, September 26, at 5:00 p.m., inviting the public to an event dedicated to science, technology, and culture, which brings together people of all ages.

During the evening, visitors will have the opportunity to travel back in time through photographs and projections of the ancient environment, and participate in activities that include imaginative storytelling, knowledge games, and digital technologies.

As part of the event, the comic book "The Magic Hourglass," designed for children, will be presented, offering a fun introduction to the secrets of coastal and underwater archaeology. In addition, participants will be able to explore the maritime history of the Mediterranean and the Black Sea through the board game "SeaLiT."

At the same time, visitors will chat with researchers and learn about the history of the Institute of Mediterranean Studies, both the building and the research carried out there.
